Shop Policies
1. Estimate and Teardown Clause
To provide an accurate repair estimate, some vehicles may require a teardown to inspect internal damage. The customer agrees to cover the costs of disassembly and reassembly if the repair does not proceed. All estimates are preliminary and may change if additional issues are discovered during the process. Top Fuel Garage will seek customer approval before performing any work that exceeds the original quoted price per local regulations.
2. Storage & Abandonment Policy
Completed vehicles must be collected within three business days of notification. A daily storage fee will be charged for every day a vehicle remains at our facility beyond this grace period. Vehicles left for more than thirty days without payment or communication will be considered abandoned and may be sold or disposed of in accordance with state laws to cover outstanding balances and storage costs.
3. Customer-Supplied Parts Clause
We prefer to source high-quality parts to ensure reliability. If you choose to provide your own parts, Top Fuel Garage offers no warranty on the part itself or the labor required to replace it should the part fail. We are not responsible for compatibility issues, shipping delays, or damage caused by faulty customer-provided components. Any additional labor required due to incorrect parts will be charged to the customer.
4. Mechanic’s Lien Notice
As per state law, a mechanic’s lien is hereby acknowledged on all vehicles left for repair to secure the amount of all charges for work performed, parts installed, and storage fees accrued. Top Fuel Garage reserves the right to retain possession of the vehicle until the bill is paid in full. If the invoice remains unpaid, the lien may be enforced by the sale of the vehicle in compliance with legal requirements.
5. Safety and Street Legality
Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle remains street legal after any modifications. Certain performance upgrades are intended for track use only. By choosing these services, you acknowledge that you are aware of your local emissions and safety laws. Top Fuel Garage is not liable for any legal consequences, fines, or loss of vehicle use resulting from equipment that does not meet public road standards.
